I love Grannie and Grandpa!

Last week was a lot of fun. My grannie and grandpa came to visit. I love to play with them! My grandpa read to me, and bought me some sassy new shoes. He also talks like a duck and wears a silly blinking red nose. That makes me laugh. My Grannie likes to sing and dance with me. She also played yoga with me, and helped me with my trains. Grannie is so silly. I love them both very much. They have to go home tomorrow, and I will miss them.

Merry Peaches!

I must have been a very good girl this year. I got lots of presents for Christmas! My favorites are my singalong Elmo from Grannie and Grandpa, my twin baby dolls and stroller from my Aunt Tavi and Uncle Paul, and my soft soft sweaters from Nana and Uncle Alex.

Elmo is such a good singer. I love it when he sings BINGO and Shout! Such good dance music.

With my new baby dolls, I can practice for when mommy brings home the twins from the hospital. My favorite thing to do is to feed the babies their baba, and then to grab hold of them by their ankles and drop them on their heads. Then, I take their blankie for a walk in the stroller. I am very good at pretending to be a mama.

Anyway, Merry Peaches to everyone!

Big Secret

I’ve been keeping a big secret. Mommy says it’s ok if I spill the beans now though. So here goes: I am going to be a big sister! And, I am such a good girl that I get to be a big sister to two babies. Mommy is going to have twins! She says they are in her tummy right now. I don’t think she knows what she is talking about though. Babies go in strollers, not tummies! I am excited because the babies will be here just in time for my second birthday party! Yeah!

Ruff...No, I mean Neigh!!!!

Today I got to see two horses. At first I thought they were big dogs and said "RUFF!" Then Mommy laughed and told me they were horses. I knew horses said neigh, but I didn't know they were so big. So Big! They are not that big in my animal book! The horses were really nice though. Mommy pet them, and then stood right between them. The one next to me nuzzled my head! That scared me a little, but it was OK. He was a nice horse.

Anyway, the horses came with a carriage full of trees. I wonder how those horses got those trees? I thought it was really fun to look at, and then got really excited when I realized Daddy was bringing one of those trees in the house! A TREE. IN the HOUSE! Daddy is crazy. I figured Mommy would get mad because he left a lot of tree bits on the floor, but instead, she started playing music, and said she was going to put lights on the tree and hang ornaments too. Mommy is crazy.

I am not sure what has gotten in to my parents, but I like it. It's fun to have a tree in the house.

Moxy

First I'd like to apologize to all my adoring fans. It's been a long time since I have written. I have been a very busy little girl. Happy belated Halloween and Thanksgiving to everyone.

Mommy dressed me as a ladybug for Halloween. I liked my wings. I didn't so much like the rest of my costume though. I let mommy know that by throwing each of my slippers and my hat into the street on the way to our Halloween party. Unfortunately, mommy is pretty quick. She gathered them up and put them back on me for pictures.

For Thanksgiving, Daddy made my favorite treat - roasted potatoes. Mommy said they are fried not roasted. Call it what you want mommy, but I know this for sure - they are still my favorite. They also tried to trick me into eating my carrots, but that didn't work. I am too smart for that.

As I said, I have been very busy. I have been learning my letters, and know almost all of them now. The first letters I learned were M, Y, O, and X. Mommy said I can use those to spell Moxy and get lots of points in Scrabble. I don't know about Scrabble...not exactly the kind of thing someone with Moxy would be playing on a Friday night.

I've also been learning how to dance. I carry my own little "boom box" (for those familiar with Farmer Ted...) around the house and bounce, spin and dig to the music. Mostly I spin though, until I fall down giggling.

I hope everyone is happy. I like that word and say it a lot. Happy...Happy...Happy...
