The big screen

Today Mommy took me to the mommy matinee, and we saw Harry Potter. I've never met Harry before, but he is big...maybe as big as the house we live in. At the mommy matinee, they allow crying babies. I didn't cry though. I just talked. The really big people talked back to me. I said things like DA DA DA DA DA. They said things like "Get your broomstick, Harry." I have to find out where Harry got his broomstick. It lets him fly. Not like Mommy's broomstick. Her broomstick only cleans up Maverick's hair off the floor.

The Mommy matinee was fun. I talked to the big people the whole time, and showed them my stuffed bunny.

Good Doggy!

My dog Maverick is a very good dog. Today Mommy was taking pictures of me and Maverick. Here is a good one.

We were playing, and I was having so much fun.

This picture is right after Maverick gave me a kiss on my nose...

...and right before I grabbed his lip and tried to pull it off of him. I stuck my whole hand in his mouth!

This is the picture that was taken as mommy threw the camera and lunged to grab me. I don't know why she was in such a hurry. We were just playing.

Maverick looked at me, and at her, stood up, and wagged his tail. Mommy stood up, and Maverick led her to his treat jar. He got lots of treats!

He is a very good dog

Allergic to light

In the morning, when I wake up, Mommy comes in and turns on my light, and I sneeze.

When we are taking a walk and we turn the corner going from the shady street to the sunny street, I sneeze.

When we drive home at night and Daddy opens the car door, the little light goes on, and I sneeze.

I have done this ever since I came home from the hospital. It happens every day. I don't sneeze much else. My nose isn't stuffy. It's definitely the light, definitely.

Isn't that weird?

One potato, two potato...

Today was a big day for me. I got to try real food for the very first time -- Sweet potatoes! Mommy says it's like the potatoes she and daddy eat, only their sweet potatoes don't come in a jar. Mommy had to special order my sweet potatoes from a company that does not put milk in any of their baby foods. Next week, she is going to try to make some for me herself.

I like my sweet potatoes because they are orange and gooey and double as finger paints. I made pretty pictures on my high chair.

Daddy took lots of pictures of me.

Bang bang bang

What do you think of my new drums? Daddy bought them for me to play along while he practices the guitar. I am pretty good. I really like using my rattle as a drumstick, and banging my wooden blocks on it. The only thing I don't like is when I am banging a wooden block, turn my wrist just so, and end up banging my finger in between the block and the drum. Ouch, that hurts.

Anyway, the drums make a really cool sound when I scratch them. I am good at scratching. I scratch my drums, my chin, my dog, and my mom. I can even scratch the back of my left knee with the big toe on my right foot. I bring relief to itches everywhere.
