Big Jobs

I have a big job. It is to take care of the dog. He is still healing from his surgery. I bang on his crate and yell "RUFF". He doesn't think that's very funny. You know what he does like, though? He likes it when I feed him. So far, I know he likes raspberries, Fritos, broccoli, and rice cakes. So far I know he doesn't like magnets, rocks, puzzle pieces or socks.

Here is a picture of me feeding him. If I am fast enough, I can grab his tongue and hold on to it. Mommy says that's icky.

But I think it's funny.

Hmmm...what else can I give him? Oh, I know: A stick...

He didn't like that one too much. What kind of dog doesn't like sticks? Silly puppy.

Poker face

Daddy says that I am going to be good at poker. Today I had a royal flush.

I tried some nutritional yeast. It was so yummy that I kept wanting to eat more. I ate about 1/2 tablespoon. Then, I turned red red red. Just like the color of my Radio Flyer wagon. My head, face, arms, and legs were bright red. My mommy thought I was having an allergic reaction, so she gave me Benadryl. I don't like Benadryl, so I spit it out. I tried to show Mommy I was alright by eating my zucchini and playing with my Elmo phone. Mommy was still really worried though. She finally talked to the allergist, and he said he didn't think it was an allergic reaction at all -- instead I was flushing as a side effect from the niacin that is in the nutritional yeast. Mommy checked this out online, and called my regular doctor. She agreed, and said not to worry at all. By then, I was all back to normal anyway.

If that is what poker is about, I don't think I want to play.
