15 month check up

Today I got to go see the doctor, even though I am not sick. The doctor wants to weight me every three months since I can't eat a lot of things. First the nurse measured me. I weighed 26 1/2 lbs, and I am almost 32 inches tall. Mommy said, "Good job growing, Chloe!" And I clapped and said "Yea". The nurse laughed and thought that was cute.

The doctor came in. I like the doctor a lot. She is nice. She was admiring my MedicAlert bracelet, and told me I get an A for growing - 90% each for height and weight. I showed her how I can walk, and then I tried to sneak under the door. I looked at mommy to make sure she wasn't watching, bent over with my butt in the air and my head on the ground, and stuck my hand all the way under. The doctor laughed at me. She said something to mommy about how great it is that kids think they can fit through a crack that's about an inch tall. Maybe that's true for other kids, but I really can do it. I swear I can, especially when at the doctor's office. I didn't want to get shots. Thankfully I didn't have to this time.

That's a big bathtub

Today we went to the beach. I had so much fun! It's like a big bathtub, only a lot colder, and no squirty bath toys. I buried my feet in the sand and splashed the water. It was fun to walk in the sand. There are lots of rocks, shells, and crabs to look at. I like crabs. I want one as a pet, but daddy says it would pinch Maverick. I don't think he would mind though. There were lots of ducks there, only they aren't called ducks, they are called seagulls.

Here I am having a great time with Daddy on the beach.

Here I am mad that we have to go home.
