Silly Maverick

Daddy's friend from college visited last weekend, and we had a lot of fun. We went to the wineries. I am not sure why they are called wineries, since nobody whined. I got to play in the dirt with pinecones and rocks while everyone else drank sour grape juice. I don't like sour grape juice. We also went shopping, and I got to watch the birds go kissy kissy in Pioneer square.

Even Maverick had fun. He had so much fun that when our friend went to leave, he ran as fast as he could and jumped into our friend's trunk. He wanted to go home with her. He was sad that he had to stay, but then Daddy fed him dinner, and he was happy again. Mommy says Maverick is neglected now. That's why I make sure to play with him a lot by sticking my fingers in his ears, and up his nose. He doesn't like that so much. Maybe that's why he wanted to go on a rode trip.
